Here’s that card I made for my D’s birthday. Yeah, yeah. Another ship drawing, I know.
But itt was inspired by Sam Cooke lyrics (who he loves). On each fold of the accordion it has a line from You Were Made For Me.
“A fish was made to swim in the ocean, a ship was made to sail on the sea, as long as there are stars above, i know, i know, you were made for me.”
I’ve been really into making accordion fold illustrations right now. It appeals to the side of me that used to construct elaborate tiny, illustrated sets for my animations.
